About Me

Hello, my name is Mrs. Stillman, a passionate educator dedicated to shaping young minds and instilling a lifelong love for learning. I grew up in Southern California, where my journey in education has been shaped by diverse experiences that have fueled my commitment to both academics and athletics.

I attended Cal State University Fresno and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in communications. During my time at the university, I had the incredible opportunity to excel not only academically but also as an athlete. I was fortunate enough to receive an NCAA Division I athletic scholarship for Women's Varsity Equestrian in reining, which taught me valuable lessons in tenacity and perseverance both in and out of the arena.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I realized later in life that my true calling lay in education. The transformative power of teachers in shaping young lives inspired me, and I decided to pursue a master’s in education. This ongoing journey allows me to continuously develop my teaching skills and stay up to date with the latest pedagogical approaches.

As an educator my greatest joy comes from fostering a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. I am deeply committed to guiding my students on their educational journey, and I strive to be a compassionate and encouraging mentor. Building meaningful connections with my students is essential to me, as it enables me to support and nurture each child to reach their full potential.

Beyond my professional life, I am also a proud Marine wife and mother of two girls. My two children attend Sycamore Academy, and as a parent, I understand the significance of a supportive school community. I aim to create the same nurturing environment for my students that I desire for my own children.

In my free time, I pursue my passion for competition and animals. I actively participate in barrel racing at rodeo events, embracing the thrill and excitement of the sport. My love for animals also extends to the world of AKC conformation dog shows, where I showcase my Toy Manchester Terriers and Border Terriers.

My journey as an educator is driven by my unwavering belief in the potential of education to empower and transform lives. The combination of my academic achievements, athletic background, and nurturing spirit allows me to create a meaningful and cherished impact on the lives of my students and the broader school community.
