Good Evening Families. Thank you for the donations to the first responders. Our kids won a pizza party! I will send the day and time for the pizza party as soon as I hear about it.

* Homework is due every Tuesday!
*Missed homework will receive a fine in Classbank.
*The Science boards are due this week. Please encourage your students to rehearse the presentation.
*I will send a Sign-up Genius for the Harvest celebration shortly on the 31st.
*We began the Writing performance task today. I am also doing individualized reading assessments for the next few weeks. If the parent volunteers have a chance to help the students in the next few weeks, they will appreciate it. 
* We also are about to start a research activity on the Native Americans Tribes in the classroom. We will continue to practice our writing skills and move from Opinion Writing to Informational writing. I am beyond pleased with the progress in writing, however, we still have many areas to practice, but the bases for writing have been laid.

*Please check the PowerSchool grades frequently and reach out to me as soon as possible if you have questions in specific assignments.

   *Please keep a folder at home with all graded work, do not dispose of it until you check the grade book.
